Why should I donate?

BIKES4KIDS is a small bike shop located in Tel Aviv, dedicated to provide kids with high-quality bicycles. We believe cycling can bring joy and normalcy back into the lives of children who have experienced trauma. Donating a bike will encourage cycling and is another unique way to contribute to the well-being of these children and bring back a child's smile.

What we did so far

Following the violence perpetrated by Hamas, we donated bikes and balance bikes to children who were forced to flee their homes, based on our personal capabilities.

Now, we've received requests from residents of the United States who wish to contribute bikes through us. We are thrilled to facilitate their donations and provide them with the opportunity to purchase bikes for Israeli children.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Choose the Age Group

    Select the age group for which you'd like to donate a bike. We offer options for various age ranges to ensure a perfect match for each child.

  • Make a Donation

    Contribute by purchasing a bike for the chosen age group. All bicycles will be delivered to victims of the October 7th attacks, concentrating our efforts on those in greatest need.

    Bicycles donated are top-of-the-line children's models from brands such as Woom, Prevelo, Frog, and Forme. If you prefer a specific bike brand to be donated on your behalf, please indicate this in the "more information" section.

  • Personalized Connection

    Each child who receives a bike will know who generously donated it. We encourage families to write a thank-you letter to the donor, fostering a personal connection between the giver and the recipient.

    If you would like to donate the bike to a family from a specific location, you can indicate this in the "more information" section and we will ensure that your request is fulfilled.

Moshe Kaptowsky, a reserved Israeli helicopter pilot flying for Magen David Adom and a manager of multiple social projects, and Avigail Aravna, a Ph.D. student in Bible studies at the Hebrew University and a professor at the David Yellin Academic College of Education.
